








Durante la notte fra il 31 gennaio e l'1 febbraio allo Staples Center di Los Angeles si è tenuta la 52esima edizione dei Grammy Awards, i premi più prestigiosi della musica!
Un'altra serata che vede vittoriosa la famiglia Carter (ovvero Beyoncé Knowles e "Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter), i due hanno vinto rispettivamente sei e tre premi. Notevole anche Taylor Swift, la sensazione country dello scorso anno, la quale è riuscita a portare a casa ben quattro prestigiosi Grammys. Insomma non solo musica black al centro dell'attenzione, ma anche appunto Country e molto Rock, con i Kings Of Leon che vincono "registrazione dell'anno", "miglior performance Rock dell'anno" nella categoria gruppi e "brano Rock dell'anno". Come ho già detto, nella musica R&B e Hip Hop hanno invece dominato i Carters: Beyoncé vince (citando qualche categoria) "brano dell'anno", "miglior album R&B contemporaneo" ma anche il prestigioso premio per "miglior performance R&B tradizionale" grazie alla sua cover di At Last (che fa parte del soundtrack del film "Cadillac Records", nel quale Beyoncé interpreta la mitica Etta James). Jay, invece, regna nelle categorie Rap e vince "miglior solo performance Rap", "miglior collaborazione rap/cantato", assieme a Rihanna e Kanye, e infine "miglior canzone Rap", sempre assieme a Rihanna e Ye (da sottolineare che non si sono potuti candidare, per una questione di data d'uscita, l'acclamatissima Empire State Of Mind con Alicia Keys e l'album The Blueprint 3, ultimo grande successo in ordine di tempo per il rapper di New York. Quasi sicuramente saranno entrambi nominati l'anno prossimo nelle rispettive categorie...). Altri grandi vincitori sono stati senza dubbio i Black Eyed Peas con tre premi, tra cui "album Pop dell'anno". Davvero un grande anno anche per loro... Ecco qui sotto le categorie:
