MONKEYS ON BIKES, GIRLS IN BIKINIS & THE LONGBOARD LOWDOWN - SWATCH GIRLS PRO CHINA
Roxy surfers Kassia Meador and Kelia Moniz are takin' you down to Chinatown, baby (China, actually), where monkeys ride bikes, goats slackline amidst fireworks and there are tons of fit women wearing next to nothing - who can surf. Surfing and China aren't necessarily two things you'd immediately associate with each other. And although Hainan Island had some great waves on offer for the 2013 Swatch Girls Pro China, it isn't exactly your typical surf spot. In fact, it is such a strange place that we met up with Roxy surfers Kassia Meador and Kelia Moniz so they could give us the lowdown on all the weird and wonderful things that they have come across during their stay in China. Get ready for full-blown opening ceremonies, monkeys on bicycles and slightly dubious delicacies on the local farmers market -- and of course there are also some hot chicks on longboards.
