INTERNATIONAL ACTION SPORT ELITE PREPARES TO SHRED SOME HOLES ON THE GOLF COURSE
Hossegor, FR- Sneakers, beanies and slim denims are not the first things popping up one’s mind when thinking of the chic surroundings of a golf course. On June 25th it is time to get used that though as the international action sports elite will strike on the green of Golfclub Gut Thailing close to Munich.
The first edition of KING of GREENS proudly supported by Nixon invites the best players originating from the action sports scene to compete on a classic 18-hole course. Top riders like skateboarder Sean Malto (USA), snowboarders Ben Kilner (GBR) and Christophe Schmidt (GER) French Surfer Tim Boal or extreme sport legend Cedric Dumont (BEL) have already confirmed their presence and are looking forward to hit some balls in the run-up of the X Games Munich from June 27th until 30th.
Sharing the stoke of sinking a perfect shot on the golf course, all players come from diverse backgrounds that are yet connected by the daily adrenalin shot action sports bring along. Now united for the first time in Europe on one course, KING of GREENS sets the perfect conditions for an afternoon of fun, action and good times in an environment completely different from the usual training grounds of the participants, more familiar with skateparks, backcountry terrains or surf spots.
To spice things up even more, Nixon donates a custom watch to the winner of a special challenge alongside the main competition. The player who masters the course’s notorious “No Score Valley” the best will be rewarded with a custom Nixon 51-30 tide watch.
