Nei primi di Maggio Nixon portò un gruppo di surfisti nella ghiacciata Russia:
In early May Nixon sent a crew of Europe and the Caribbean's best surfers to the frosty Kamchatka Peninsula in the far east of Russia. This rugged adventure cum surf competition saw fun beach-break waves and some serious ripping from all involved. William Aliotti walked home with the trophy but everyone involved had an unforgettable time.
